NH Connections: Strengthening Family – School Partnerships in Special Education
NH Connections supports school district personnel and families of children with disabilities build and strengthen family-school partnerships in special education. Additionally NH Connections supports the Department of Education in the statewide Parent Involvement Survey in Special Education.
NH Connections’ Facilitators provide research-based best practice resources, direct support, facilitation, training and assistance on a statewide, regional and individual basis to schools and school districts on creating and maintaining family-school partnerships in special education. NH Connections also trains and supports Parent Leaders in building and maintaining family-school partnerships in special education in their schools and districts. Additionally, NH Connections supports the NH DOE in the statewide Parent Involvement Survey in Special Education (also known as the Indicator 8 Survey).
