Visit PIC on Special Education’s(www.nhspecialedorg) website for a wealth of information on special education.
NH Connections – Services for Parents
NH Connections provides effective strategies for parents of children in special education to be involved in their school through the concepts in The Partnership for Student Success guide. The tools to provide parents with the knowledge to be a valuable team member can be offered through a professional approach of mutual respect and collaboration. This is learned through professional development through Partnerships for Student Success in Special Education Workshop. NH Connections offers a Parent Leadership Series which gives parents of children with disabilities skills to assume leadership positions on their children’s school teams, on parent support groups, and to be available to help with district and school issues. Please see the NH Connections website for more information.
